Saul Associates was founded in 1972 with a vision and a dream. Gordon Saul and his brother Irv owned a men's clothing store in Quakertown, PA. One day, Gordon noticed there was a vacant lot across the street from his store. He immediately had a vision that changed his life and the lives of numerous others. He built his first Shopping Center in that vacant lot and the center has since grown to become one of the cornerstones of business in downtown Quakertown. His method has evolved to building Shopping Center’s in rural towns, where the centers become the foundation of a community and where they become successful ventures for both himself and for the tenants.

Gordon’s goal is to build structures with enduring value and the potential to become timeless. The team at Saul Associates is built of creative professionals who carefully evaluate each project in order to adhere to both financial and time constraints. Over the years we have become known as a top Commercial Property Development Firm.

In 1984, Gordon's daughter Barbara Saul Kendall graduated from George Washington University and went to work at Saul Associates. Barbara went on to raise a family, and then in 2012, came into the business full-time and alongside her father Gordon. Barbara currently manages all of their properties.

To date, Saul Associates has built over 1 million square footage of space and currently own and manage 25 Stores and Shopping Center’s throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
